Tubular modules
SEPRODYN® tubular microfiltration modules are used to separate suspended solids larger than 1.0 microns. These tubular membranes are made of high-molecular-density polyethylene, thanks to a process patented by Mann+Hummel. High-solids feed streams are no problem for SEPRODYN® thanks to the self-supporting, extremely robust tubular membranes with a large internal diameter of 5.5 mm.
The polyethylene membrane can be backwashed, providing stable, efficient filtration with a high filtrate flow. The intelligent construction techniques used in the manufacture of the modules enable them to be used in applications requiring highly stable polymer materials, pH stability (0 to 14) and high resistance to abrasive substances.
