EDCORE® horizontal anodes enable you to improve paint deposition on areas that are difficult to coat with conventional vertical anodes (rocker panels, interior, etc.). ALTING’s horizontal anodes are market-renowned for their durability and design, which guarantees optimum sealing and ease of assembly and disassembly. They take full advantage of the membrane’s unique properties.

Energy savings
The combination of EDCORE® membrane and EDCORE® Cell design ensures energy savings of 15-20% for equivalent paint deposition. This optimizes the efficiency of horizontal anodes.
Membrane extrudée
The EDCORE® membrane is extruded in tube form and self-supporting, guaranteeing increased safety, absence of delamination and a smooth surface with no grids, interior support or external protection.
Waterproofing
Even under pressure, the EDCORE® membrane remains impermeable to water, simplifying maintenance operations and preventing the loss of anolyte into the paint bath.
Reduced sedimentation
The cells left free in the foot expand freely, preventing pigment sedimentation on the membrane surface between the wet and dry phases.
Durability
EDCORE® anodes have a much longer service life than anodes produced from flat membranes, with many installations in production for over 10 years. This longevity reduces the often difficult maintenance operations at the bottom of the tank, as well as unwanted line stoppages.
Warranty
Alting offers a 3-year warranty on EDCORE® cells for automotive baths, accompanied by an OEM-related maintenance contract to ensure optimal operation.
Individual flow control
Pressurized anolyte circulation allows customized flow rate adjustment per cell, optimizing operating costs for anolyte circulation pumps. Horizontal anodes regularly require higher anolyte flow rates.
Assistance
Alting offers support for on-site sizing and installation, with maintenance contracts to ensure continuous operation.
Simplified maintenance
The EDCORE® membrane can be dried and moistened at will. This simplifies maintenance operations, as EDCORE® anodes do not need to be kept wet when the paint tank is drained.
